Hello all, So the mastering tweaks ended up becoming something a bit more serious. The vocal levels werent right, so new stems were needed and a new mastering session required. The good news is my lovely friend Eric at Philosophers Barn Mastering has stepped into the fray and the album is being finished this week. Finally. YES. Meanwhile Ive been digging out my old Angelou albums to listen to. Seems that BB Productions want to use a few old favourites. Flesh & Blood is going into Hidden In The Woods and Honeysuckle Again into The Girl. After a few frantic emails and calls to Universal yesterday Universal finally they gave their approval...phew. Now its a question of waiting to see and hear them on film. Alongside all this Ive been slowly compiling ideas for album artwork, meeting with animators for videos, tinkering with the website and thinking seriously about a live band. Listening to my old albums has made me realise how much I miss playing with a band of people. Strangely though, until I have the finished album in my hand, I dont feel I can do anything but wait. Hopefully not too long now..
