Hello all, The time is flying by and the recital is almost upon us. We just wanted to give you a few reminders and information pertaining to the recital and dress rehearsal. There will be practice Monday June 23 from 4pm-6pm for all competition and Teen Beach Movie (Thursday 5pm jazz) classes. Please plan on attending unless you are in another class during those times. Monday at 6:30pm we will have a Volunteer meeting for all those who signed up to help as general helpers or room parents at the recital. This meeting is mandatory. If you cannot make it, please contact the front desk so we can go over the information with you. It is very important that all volunteers attend this meeting since it is a new venue and things will be running a bit different than previous years. For all students including preschool: Hair for dress rehearsal and recital should be slicked back in a neat ballet bun. Makeup should be neutral with red lipstick. Dress rehearsal is at Stockton Performing arts center and runs from 1pm to 6pm. Students should arrive by 12:30 and be ready to perform at 1:00. For recital 7pm Friday and 2pm Saturday, students should arrive 1 hour prior to show time at the Stockton performing arts center. Directions to the Stockton performing arts center from Broadway Bound area are as follows: Take Garden State Parkway south to exit 44. Turn right onto Pomona Road. Go 1/2 mile. Make left onto Vera King Farris Drive. Follow signs for the PAC, turn right into parking lot 6 for the PAC. Just too clear up any confusion pertaining to the dressing/stage area, the dressing area in the Stockton Performing arts center is down a set of stairs. The stage is adjacent to the main dressing area. The children will NOT go up and down stairs to get to the stage. For their safety during the performance they will be kept solely in the downstairs dressing area. If you have any other questions or concerns, please be sure to ask. Tickets are still available and DVDs are still available for pre-order at the front desk.
