Hello all. This year I am playing a big New Year’s Eve show in downtown Minneapolis. Is it very, very big? It is. Big sound, big lights, and a champagne flute that could hold a yearling foal. (Yes, okay, fair. That last part is utter fabrication.) I met with the NYE promoter this week to check out the venue. I’ll be playing in the atrium of the International Market Square, which has the appeal of a nicely-sized dance floor, and several balcony levels, all with unobstructed sight lines and pretty damn near the stage. I very politely asked the show promoter if I might give away a pair of tickets to the show and he, graciously, obliged. So, on Sunday I’ll be giving away a pair of general admission tickets to this thing. (For reference, Har Mar played last year and well over 2,000 of his very fine fans showed up.)
