Hello all ! We have many that want to continue steak night and that is understood. Although I, as Commander, have stated that due to low participation and the system by which we operate steak night lacking in communication/dedication, that we should cancel it until further notice. Still we have some volunteers trying to keep it going, and I applaud them for their efforts as I and many can not or will not commit to this event. Michelle Ellis is planning at this time to be up at the post Friday night to set up for steak night and at this point may be alone, she needs someone for baked potatoes and salad (contact her through FaceBook if you can help). That being said, if anyone buys something to help with steak night and wants to be paid back then simple keep the receipts and get them to the QM or bartender on duty that night to reimburse you out of the sales from the steak night proceeds, if not then thanks for your donation. Next Friday, Oct. 10th is the MGs turn, if they want to continue with steak night and then it would be nice if Mens Auxiliary can jump in the next week and then the womans. But note, no one is required to do this or to be made feel guilty, it is a volunteer effort. I will not hound anyone to do this under my leadership, period, new times and bigger fish to fry.
