Hello all! We hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather. Apologies for so few posts, very busy as always at the surgery. Weve had plenty of dogs in with grass seeds causing havoc. So do continue to keep yours eyes peeled for swollen paws, sneezing and shaking heads with your cats and dogs!! Also, fly strike season has also struck- so check you rabbits and guinea pigs at least 4 times a day for damp fur, inflamed skin and or maggot eggs which look like tiny grains of rice. If you see any of these signs please make an appointment as soon as possible. Rearguard is a preventative treatment for fly strike- so if your rabbits arent protected already please do pop down to the surgery and pick up an application of Rearguard to keep your bunnys safe!!
