Hello all, What a lovely day it is to be sat inside editing... :) Last night I saw a section of Jack Whitehalls Bad Education, where LARP gets shown in an unsurprisingly awful light. Conversely, Ive just seen a clip of Tough Gig with Dara O Briain, which was actually fairly sympathetic towards the hobby (https://youtube/watch?v=UJ6exaC5ryE). This got me thinking of the various media representations of LARP Ive seen over the last few years. Here at Slender Pictures we do our best to make the hobby look as great as we all know it is, but theres obviously plenty of stuff out there that does quite the opposite. Id be interested to hear what you all think of media representation of LARP in general. Whats the best and worst representation youve seen of LARP in the media, and why?
