Hello all and Happy Sunday Folks. JUST GOTTA OUTTA THE EMERGENCY ROOM Well to let yall know, last Wednesday I got in a fight and broke one of my ribs,#11 to be exact. The pain was not bad til I had a coughing spell last night,and heard and felt something slip/move. Could not sleep last night because of the extreme pain. So this morning I walked myself to the local hospital. They gave me a breathing treatment cause of the cough,wheeze and lung rattle. Then they loaded me up with three kinds of pain meds via IV....Morphine,Dilaudid,and also Torodal.....needless to say,I was high as a kite,but felt better.{Still in pain when I move wrong,or cough} After Xrays,they also did an ultra sound as they were afraid of internal damage to my liver or kidney. Plus they did blood work, and a urinalysis. All came back clear,other than the broke/cracked rib. So the Doc said,cough,deep take deep breaths to keep my lungs clear. His words,You wont die from broke ribs,but you can from pneumonia! Plus they gave me a scrip of pain pills. SO HOW IS YOUR SUNDAY :-)
