Hello all now listen up... I’m in the process of producing a new play entitled ‘Francesca’s Lullaby’ and what I would dearly like is to include you all. (Stay with me) The play is set in a bus station and the lead character ‘Roger, sings about the general public and the many things he has observed, such as happy people- sad people -young people- mothers daughters -students -young children -people going to work -retuning from work ..In truth, it’s about ordinary people going about their ordinary lives. My overall aim is to ask fellow actors such as yourselves, photographers and old drama students, to pick a theme, visit a bus station closer to your home (America –Australia -South Africa- Grenada Denmark-Poland and London) decide on which characters you would be comfortable with portraying i.e. someone deep in thoughts – in fancy dress -reading a news paper -going or returning from somewhere- mother and daughter- lads nights -out-drama students- ect. Have you self photograph, send me a copy and you will be included in Rogers song montage, which is going to be projected on a large screen during the performance.... The play is scheduled for June of this year with a preview at the end of May 2014. Many thanks Weekes
