Hello all of our Facebook friends, going to prepare you early, this update is painful. We (Ron, Dana and family) love each and every one of you; we have become dependent on your words, comments and prayers. All of you have helped us over the past weeks as we go through the most difficult situation in our lives. Having met with the doctors today we are reaching out for your prayers tonight and all day tomorrow. As you know Tristen has been removed from the sedation and he is still not responsive. We want to be honest and tell you yes we are scared. It is the fear of the unknown, we have no clue nor do the doctors what it is going to be like going forward. How do we as parents look at our son and not know how to “fix it”? How do we look at him and not know what tomorrow brings? The doctors can’t tell us what is going to happen, only what they will do if…… We understand they have to give us all the information, But can you imagine how it feels to hear the “What ifs”? The doctors need to remove his breathing tube tomorrow…..yes he has been breathing on his own, but What if? What if he can’t breathe on his own? What if his heart is not strong enough? We have cried all day and night. We can’t concentrate or focus after all we have heard today. Yes they are preparing us for the worst case scenario, understood but it is not easy. We have been patient and faithful, and we hold on to our belief that God is not finished with him yet. We need you all to support us and keep us strong for the next few days. Lift Tristen up along with the family during this most difficult time. Tristen has come so far, yet he has so much more to go. For the first time in over 3 weeks we will have a chance to snuggle with Tristen. The nurses will be moving him over so that mom and dad can take turns holding him and sleeping next to him. Please everyone be in prayer all day tomorrow as it may be one of the most difficult days in the past weeks. PUSH Dana: All day has reminded herself that all she needs is the faith of a mustard seed. Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
