Hello all, well be in Nuffield G18 at 2pm again this week (Wednesday 5th November) for the usual weekly meet up. Heres some ideas of other events, please comment with your thoughts on these ideas and any other suggestions: - Oli Banks suggested an After Dark session and kindly offered for us to go round to his house one evening in week 7 to listen to some records, have some drinks and chill in a more homely environment. Oli, what days are good for you that week? And what days are generally good for everyone else? - The next Come Vinyl With Me event at Fletchers bar will be on Sunday 16th November. We all really enjoyed Octobers event so were hoping to see some more Vinyl Soc faces there this time and to get there earlier so that we can get our names down early on and get a chance to spin our own records https://facebook/ComeVinylWithMe - Anaele Sae suggested we make a trip to the cinema to see Northern Soul. Ive done my research and the only other time its playing in Birmingham is at Mac on Thursday 27th November. I know thats a while away but we need to book tickets in advance if we want to go so please comment if youre interested in coming! macbirmingham.co.uk/event/northern-soul/ - Andy F Linares suggested we have our own film night and watch The Boat That Rocked. Im gonna try to book a room for us to do this at some point in either week 7 or week 8. Which evenings are generally good for anyone interested in coming? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
