Now, its come to my attention that we have quite the range of individuals with varying degrees of different scientific experience here. Indeed, a lovely multidisciplinary motley crew of life forms. Some will undoubtedly come with different hobbies, interests, passions, and personal feelings towards the field of astrobiology. These varying approach angles can be a good thing!
