Hello and thank you for the add. I am a wife of a CABG patch patient. He had 7 bypasses, an infection that lasted 5 months. The arrest happened Feb 11/13, bypass surgery Feb 18/13, although he is doing well, the problems I am having have to do with his personality change, he has not been right. I got them to check if there was a small stroke, or O2 deficiency, but they say that is not the case. I am certain this very traumatic surgery has altered his emotions, his personality, and made his outlook on life cynical and hateful toward those who love him most. It has been a very hard almost 2 years. Is this something that other spouses are experiencing? or am I barking up the wrong tree?
