Hello biking buddies and welcome to day 4 of the rebuild. All going pretty well really. Got stator and flywheel fitted alongside new neutral switch. Pistons, rings all in. Base gaskets are on but one of them needed a bit of adjustment. Must have been cut by Stevie Wonder. By hand!! New silver plated little end bearings in. Same ones used on RD500. Same size but have extra roller fitted. Big improvement. No tight spots so will carry on next with fitting power valve assembly. Yippee!!! Bye for now all.
