Hello dear Sherwood neighbours! My name is Shirley. Do you have ironing piling up in the corner of the room and the thought of attacking it fills you with misery, horror and dread? Well, Ive invested in a fancy schmancy iron and ironing board and I have hours and hours in a day to fill....so, Ive decided to start up a little cottage business from my home in Haydn Road, Sherwood. I love ironing, I find it relaxing and therapeutic, and Id like to offer my passion as a service to those who are less inclined. Theres nothing complicated about my pricing, I believe in value for money and I deliver a prompt, loving quality finish. I dont mind whats in the basket, I dont mind how much it weighs. Theres no price difference for this and that, different material, different sizes or womens clothes compared to mens. So, in keeping it as simple as I possibly can, you will know what you will pay and I will know what I will be paid, simply grab your laundry basket, fill it up....drop it off to my place on your way to work, when you are off to do the weekly shop, or heading out for a relaxing day ....and Ill sort that pesky ironing for you whilst you enjoy your weekend with the family....or grind it out at the office making a living. Come and pick up your finished ironing when you get a chance and itll only set you back 20 quid. If you need to drop it off in the morning and pick it up that afternoon, my super-duper speedy service is only an extra 5 pounds. I believe at those prices I can offer an affordable service for you, and I will gain a valued customer, everyone goes to sleep that night a happy camper:-) Id love to take that one worry off your hands. As Im brand spanking new and just getting going, please help me out by providing your own hangers for now. They can be wire, plastic or nice fancy wooden ones, whatever you bring, is what I will hang your ironing on. I will carefully fold anything that doesnt need hanging, or that which youd prefer not to hang, just let me know what you like when I see you. My hours are 6am - 7pm Sunday to Thursday, 6am - 4pm Friday. Additional drop off / pick up arrangements can be made for shift workers, just let me know...I understand your timelines dont always fit in with normal working hours. Ill make sure we can work something that suits. At this time it is a self drop off / pick up. I hope that in the near future I will be able to offer a pick up and deliver to you service.
