Hello, delegates. More news is on the horizon. We regret informing you that Shouryadipta wont be able to chair the LoN session because of exams that his college scheduled in the last moment. Dont worry, though: weve found a replacement who we consider more than capable to take up the mantle: Swarnim Saxena. We are proud to present to you the new president of LoN at BITSMUN. We also regret informing you that the SC chairperson Taufique has just recovered from dengue, and hes been trying to get the doctors permission to travel. We hope he is able to make it. If he does, he will be chairing the committee along with Ashesh Das as the co-chairperson, who has been gracious enough to fill the role of yet another unfortunate exam-related drop-out from the SC vice chair. Lets all welcome Swarnim and Ashesh to the BITSMUN community and thank them for their quick response to our emergency situation of chairperson dropouts. We are also proud to announce to you the head of IP, Akriti Chadda, who will be working in tandem with Campus Diaries to bring you newsletters, picture stories and press conferences. Somehow, there seems to be some sort of turmoil that always prevents TamilNadu people from coming to the conference comfortably: last year, there were border riots regarding the separation debate, and this year there is the /other/ highly politically charged incident. But Akriti has promised to show the true grit of a journalist who wont let anything come in her way, and has promised to travel to Hyderabad. EB members like these truly warm our heart. BITSMUN is happening. It is /definitely/ happening. October 3-5. Be there. - Director General P.S.: The conference handbook will be out by 2 PM today. P.P.S: Allotments are at bits-mun/allotments.php P.P.P.S: Study guides are at https://drive.google/folderview?id=0B6KfE9N1ZTiiTlB0SzVzcllobzA&usp=sharing
