Hello everybody! First post here and I hope it can help! Ive been dealing with Psoriasis since I was about 9. Its been almost 12 years of trying different things to make the itching go away along with the scales. Ive tried combining things to help get rid of the itching and finally came up with something that works for me. I just joined this group to share it and maybe help others out! :) Anyone, heres what I do/use: I take: 1 1oz tube of 1% Hydrocortisone Cream 1 1oz tube of Neosporin 1 1oz tube of Anti Itch Cream 1 tsp of Vaseline About 1oz of Shea Butter Lotion (I prefer Cocoa Butter scent, but thats just me :P ) I mix all of this together until its very well mixed. Itll look a little chunky, but thats normal. This parts optional, but it seems to make this cream work faster. I add Baby Powder and mix it together until the mixture is pasty. If youre afraid of using Baby Powder for some reason, then you can ignore this step. Itll still work, just not as fast. I apply it once a day, just before I go to bed. I leave it out to air dry. It doesnt seem to work very well when its covered. I also apply it about an hour after showering so it fully soaks in. Ive used this on my scalp (through my hair) without issues, on the crooks of my legs, on my neck, on the insides of my elbows, my armpits, and even my tailbone with fantastic results. Like I said, all I do is put it on once a day, before I go to bed. I shower at night so the cream has a full 24 hours on my skin before I shower again. I also apply it pretty liberally. I rub it in until it feels like its all soaked in then I rub some more in. I keep adding until I cant rub anymore in. I keep the excess on. Ive not had anyone else try this so all results are based off of what Ive experienced (Kinda wish I took before/after photos, but I didnt find this group till after I started using this :/ ) I notice my skin is much much much clearer just after waking up the first time using this. My skin is already softer the first day I use it. My skin itches so little compared to before. A lot of the open sores are gone (still a few around, but not nearly as many as before) Just on day 1, all that happens. On day 2, several of my patches are completely gone, the more severe ones are still there, but much calmer than before. On day 3, 95% of my patches are gone. No itch, no nothing. On day 4-7, 100% of my patches are completely gone. ------------------------------------------ Ive used everything in this concoction individually with absolutely no results, but when put together, its incredibly powerful. As a side note, this product will most likely burn when applied. This usually goes away after about 5 minutes, but may be worse depending on how many open sores you have. The sensation DOES go away though! ----------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I am NOT a medical professional. You use this at your own risk. I have no clue what side effects could occur, if any, from using this. I am not selling this, this is your decision to make on your own and your responsibility. This is what works for me and what COULD work for you. I dont know, like I said, Im the only one that I know of that has actively used this. ----------------------------------------- As a side note, I am curious as to how well this works with other. Please feel free to post before and after pictures or comments on how well this works, if at all! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :) ---------------------------------------- One more side note, I bought most of the ingredients at Walmart. I bought the cheapest brands possible, which, in most cases, turned out to be Equate. This totaled out to about 10 dollars for everything. This concoction has lasted me about 2 weeks every time. If it doesnt work, its still cheaper than most Psoriasis products out there. Point being, you wont lose much. ---------------------------------------- Anyway, if you havent had much luck with other Psoriasis products, like me, then Id say give this a shot :) I wish you all the best of luck! I hope Ive been of some help!
