Hello everybody! I hope your Friday has got off to a good start! We were a little sad last night, thinking about Henry and his family! Henry, of course, is running free but his family miss him so very much. We know that their faith will help them through this difficult time, along with the wuv of all of their many friends and furiends. We shall say another little prayer for them later… It’s a cold and frosty morning, this morning and I WUV it! BOL! I could hardly wait to get outside. Of course, Mummy had difficulty keeping upright again; maybe, she should try walking on all fours, although I don’t think her hands would be much good, unlike my paws which are suited to all terrain! We met up with Clancy and his mummy nearly at the beginning of our walk. It was wuvely to see him again! He had his… coat on again! BOL! His mummy only used it to keep him clean; he doesn’t need it for warmth as he’s a Westie and has a thick coat of his own! I think he’s due for a trim, though… he looks very much like I did a couple of weeks ago! We weren’t able to run this morning and I noticed that Mummy was sticking very much to the grass edges of the lane, so I was a good girl and didn’t try to run around too much, even though I wanted to! I was rewarded by going on the track to the field and both Mummy and I got to run around where we wanted to! There were some intriguing smells there! Because we don’t walk there, every day, I have to check out who’s been around… Mummy is very patient; she lets me have a good sniff around and I was able to leave a few status updates so those doggies will know I’ve been there too! As soon as we got home, Mummy left for town to get my carrots. She buys other things too, although I know that the main reason for going is my carrots! When she got home, she did the vacuuming! Hmm… Mummy’s changed the order in which she does things this week! I still get my meals at the same time and we walk at the same times BUT I used to be able to predict what she was doing; where she was doing it and at what time, and now I’m not sure! Perhaps it’s a good thing to change one’s routine sometimes. If you get stuck doing the same things at the same time every day, how are you able to cope with change? One good thing about these changes is that Mummy works more with her new notebook in the living room. I’m quite happy to snooze nearby while she’s tapping away… I can hardly believe it’s nearly the weekend. I think this week has gone so very quickly. Maybe it IS because things have had a different order! I think I’ve been having more play sessions with Mummy too and I hope to grab a few with Daddy over the weekend. I don’t get to play with him much during the week as I can see he’s tired when he gets home from work, so I try not to pester him too much, but at the weekend it’s different. The best time is when I get to play with Mummy and Daddy at the same time! BOL! Well dear everybody, I’m going to catch a snooze before training… I presume that it will be at the same time!
