Hello everybody. Recently, Yaroslavl met another guest from United States. His name is Gabriel and he is a great chess player about 2000 ELO as well as pianist and singer, interesting and smart conversationalist and just a simple guy, who have been there to find new expirience and, of course, to see russian friends. And Im proud to be one of them. I met him in Kansas, while I was a chess team member. He came here on 31st of October after a day in Moscow. And I should admit, that it was a hard task to bring him here to Yaroslavl, because of visa issues and tickets cost. But we succeeded! On the next day, we met on Strelka and walked to the restraunt. After dinner we joined Demidov English Club on Halloween eve and Karaoke Battle night in one vial. We sang Nickelbacks Rockstar and Survivor Eye of the tiger in place and I was lucky to be in the same team as Gabe, because of his brilliant vocal skills and his ability to play the piano. At first of November, I was choosen to be a translator for my international friend on chess tournament opening and in his interview speech. After blitz we visited Arena-2000 and spent great evening with other participants from Demidov English Club Helen, Olivia and Hannah. We had fun. On Sunday, after chess games we played 2 on 2 basketball at University. It was very very tough game. Gabe and me were always from 12 to 6 points behind, but at the very last moment we did it 66:66 just before the rest. And after play continued we won it 12 to 4. Nevertheless our opponents Dmitri and Alexsandr were magnificent. Monday was special for a few reasons. We had very international squad with Helen from UK, Evgenia, who spent almost a year in France, Natalia, who is participant of Kansas state championship and some more interesting mates like Ilya and Yaroslav. We went bowling and had absolutely best night ever. It was so much fun and great atmosphere within the team. No doubts about, we had more fantastic times together, but there are the best moments for my opinion. Finally, on morning of 9th of November, I went with Gabe to his car, in which he was supposed to go to the airport and fly back to Kansas, and we strongly hugged each other. It was fascinating time with Gabriel, that I gonna remember for whole my life. I miss him very much and I sure that I gonna met him one day. And this day will come sooner rather than later.
