Hello everybody! Today is a day of CELERATION as it’s SIX MONTHS exactly since I came to live with Mummy and Daddy! WOW! I can’t believe that I ever found it strange here... Now, I feel TOTALLY at home! I’ve learned that I can go anywhere in the house that I like, although my bed is downstairs and that’s where I sleep. Since being able to get up and downstairs, I’ve been trying to sneak up at bedtime to join Mummy and Daddy but they always call me down again... I’m a good girl, though, as I always come when they call! I’ve also learned that MY food is MY food, and I don’t have to gobble everything down the minute I get it. I always eat my meals straight away but I eat my treats when I want them. Yesterday, I saved them up all day and then enjoyed them in the afternoon! BOL! Another thing I’ve learned is that Mummy and Daddy love me very much and I certainly wuv them. Of course, there’s loads more I could bark, about what I’ve learned but I just wanted to share a few thoughts and to let you know that today is the six months anniversary! I was very tired yesterday, after my two long days at the seaside and all I wanted to do was sleep! I was even too tired to go far on my second walk! I only went because Mummy wanted me to. I’m glad I did, though, and Mummy was very kind as we didn’t go too far. I let her know I wanted to go home... and we did! It meant that I had a little more snoozy-catch-up time and, this morning, we went on a longer walk than usual to make up for it, which was BRILLIANT! We were out early before the sun got too warm and it was wuvely checking out my usual scent trails. We saw Scruffy and his Mummy and a Shih Tzu, who I’ve seen a few times. He always wanted to say hello but I was always a bit nervous, as we met on the road where the traffic is and I like to keep moving! Today we greeted each other properly and now we are furiends! I don’t know what his name is but I’ll ask next time we see him. It felt right to say hello today. I think it’s because I’ve seen so many doggies over the past few days that I felt more comfortable in his presence. When we got back from our walk, Mummy gave me my favourite Kipper Nipper treat! Ooooooh, I WUV them so much! Mummy says that she’s going to have to keep ordering them, which is great! I don’t think I could ever get fed up with them! They are truly ‘Doggielicious’! Mummy’s still working hard to get everything back to normal around the house. She’s been catching up on the chores she would usually have done but couldn’t when our friends were staying. Now that I can get upstairs (and down), I thought I’d help her clean the bathroom. She asked me to stand in the doorway though, as she was a bit afraid that I might lick or eat something which would hurt me! As I couldn’t help very much (and it wasn’t very exciting to watch after all), I came back downstairs, which is where I’ve been until Mummy called me to bark these words! I wonder if there will be a special treat today to celebrate my six months anniversary! Maybe not, as I have lots of different treats already, but I wouldn’t say no to a few extra doggie chocs! I bet there will be something very special though, when I’ve been here a whole year! BOL! Well, dear furiends and friends, Mummy has some jewellery to make today and she wants to get on with it after we’ve finished my barking, so I’ll stop here for now and let her get on! Have a wuvely Thursday! Keep those tails wagging! Kisses and licks, Brenna
