Hello everybody! Welcome to Tuesday! BOL! I’ve had a wuvely - TopicsExpress

Hello everybody! Welcome to Tuesday! BOL! I’ve had a wuvely start to my day as Daddy didn’t have to go to his training so early, so he was able to come out with Mummy and me on our morning walk! It was WUVELY! It was such a surprise when he put my collar and lead on me and I felt very happy to be able to walk between Mummy and Daddy on a day other than at the weekend! In the early part of my walk, I even kept away from my usual scent trails so I could stay close to both of them! It’s OK; I knew I could catch up on scenting on the way back! BOL! I had another surprise too… Do you remember me telling you AGES ago about the two little Jack Russell puppies I’d met? Their names are Molly and Honey! Well, I saw them again today! In fact, they gave me quite a fright as they bounded out of their garden to see me! They’re almost grown now and proper little girls. I was a bit startled when they first bounded over but enjoyed seeing them again. Their Mummy picked them up and carried them back inside, after we’d reacquainted ourselves with each other. Because Daddy was with us, and because I seemed to have lots of energy this morning, we walked all the way to the bridge and had a look at the river. I was such a brave girl, letting the traffic pass me without reacting to it too much! I even managed to limit myself to a single bark when a clanking lorry went by. Mummy kept telling me that I was such a good girl and it felt wuvely to walk alongside the road without being too frightened. I didn’t want to do the extra yesterday as the doggies in the back of that open lorry the day before had spooked me a bit BUT I decided that I’d give it another try as I’m soooooo eager to go different places with Mummy and Daddy later on in the year. I actually surprised myself! I CAN do this… When we got home, I had a wuvely snuggle with Mummy and Daddy. It was a big bonus to have them both cuddling me at this time of day during the week but, all too soon, Daddy had to get ready to go to his training! I STILL don’t know what he’s doing but maybe he’ll show me what he’s learned later, just like I show him what Mummy teaches me. I got a bit concerned yesterday evening as Daddy was later home that usual. I kept looking for him at the usual time but he didn’t arrive. Mummy didn’t seem concerned so I took it that she knew he was going to be late. I still fretted, though, and gave him a BIG welcome when he finally arrived! I understand a lot that Mummy and Daddy say to me, as I’ve got used to the same words they say to me over time but, I sometimes wish I could learn more of the human language so I’d know when things change at home or so I could tell Mummy and Daddy things too! I shall have to try harder! Well, dear everyone! My barkings aren’t very exciting today but, sometimes, it’s nice to be able to have uneventful days! I hope your day brings you all you wuv and that you are all healthy and waggy-tailed. I’m going to take my morning snooze now, and then help Mummy with some cooking a little later… Yes, CHEESE will be involved so I’ll be there VERY close to Mummy’s legs and clean up for her when she’s finished! BOL! I’m looking forward to hearing from you… Be kind to those you wuv; have fun and keep those tails wagging! Kisses and licks, Brenna
