Hello everyone, Have you heard about Southtexasoutlaws Auto&Truck Repair? I met the owner/mechanic, Jeffrey Garcia a few months back. He was looking for business cards and I told him I was girl for the job. When I went to take him his cards, we sat and visited for little over an hour. Did you catch that? A mechanic who took the time to talk?! I was captivated by his meek disposition, his respectfulness, and his I got this outlook. Like many of us, Jeff didnt come from a roses and butterflies road. Nevertheless, there he was doing the best he can to live his dream. How easy it is to forget the challenges small business owners take to live out their dreams of owning our own business. Come to find out, Jeff has always wanted to be a mechanic and can recall dragging his daddys tool box around the yard as a toddler. Jeff has worked on almost everything with a motor from lawnmowers, to dirt bikes, and now specializes in truck, motorcycles, and cars. After talking, I couldnt resit.. I had to see him in action. So, I asked if he wanted to barter for cost of the cards for an oil change. He not only agreed, but as soon as I was ready, he stopped everything he was doing and changed my oil. In addition, my truck had been giving me so problems, so I asked what he thought about it. He said, pop the hood... and in less than five minutes explained the problem - when was the last time you had a mechanic explain the problem and not just sputter of some tech terms you didnt understand? After I told my husband about all this, he asked me to see if Jeff could help him with his Harley. I asked Jeff and then told him that my husbands Harley was my father-in-laws before he passed. Yall should have seen the way Jeff babied the Harley... I could write another several thousand words about our new mechanic, but instead Ill end here with - My husband and I personally recommend yall go meet Jeff.
