Hello everyone. :) I am Lee. Im not on the exec anymore, but I was the founding President of this society between October 2013 and March 2014. I am so happy to have helped set up a very successful society, one that is well known and loved throughout University and beyond. It also has a large friendly membership base, where you are sure to make lovely new friends. I am always tremendously busy, but I hope to meet all of you new members and Freshers at the amazing WhoSoc events I can attend this year :) I am a 3rd year History student (with special interest in Medieval History), Pendle College, and I am recently the founding President of Lancaster Autism and Specific Learning Difficulties Society (LASS). My love for Doctor Who is deeply strong, Whilst I adore all the Doctors, my favourite Doctors are: Jon Pertwee (3rd), Tom Baker (4th), Sylvester McCoy (7th), Chris Ecclestone (only because he was my 1st Doctor) and though I used to have David Tennant as a favourite, Peter Capaldi has now taken his place in my top 5. My favourite companions are Jamie McCrimmon, Sarah Jane Smith, Romana, K9, Ace, Captain Jack, Donna and River Song. My other interests, apart from Dr Who and History consists of avidly following and engaging with Politics, wine drinking, watching comedy and I have a little obsession with Holby City and Casualty. If there is one piece of advice I would give to any Whovian out there, big or small or those wanting to try Dr Who out, would be to say Geronimo and just go ahead and join WhoSoc. Sorry for long intro. :P
