Hello everyone, I am Sarah, and I have experience with budgies, cockatiels, and cockatoos (sadly I live in a modern semi so cannot have my parents triton...) We currently have a problem - recently we lost our budgie, Ernie (age unknown) so Sandy budgie needs a new friend. We have been looking on Gumtree and Preloved, no luck, and the local RSPCA centre have not got back to us about any male budgies. Sandy rubs along fine with his two cockatiel cage-mates but it is so sad to hear him singing to his mirror, and rubbing his head on his perch, when he is used to a companion. If anyone knows of a male budgie, age and colour unimportant, that needs a home, (ideally nearish to Bristol) please let us know. I have a lot of friends who breed budgies for showing so could easily buy a baby, but I dont want to!
