Hello everyone! I am a twenty-five year old New biller. I recently obtained a job as a biller for a chain or health centers in my area. I have completed a training program for billing and coding and am currently going for my bachelors in health info. Management. At the moment I am responsible for posting payments, verifying insurance and preparing medicaid claims to be submitted. I havent had the chance to turn an encounter into a claim yet and I am so nervous as there are so many rules! I believe that on Monday i will be actually be billing and coding claims, any tips for a newbie?
