Hello everyone, I am delighted to tell you, the beautiful and very talented singer & television actress, Chante Moore, has agreed to come back to Chicago for me and perform Live, at Chicagos most elegant venue, the Alhambra Palace Restaurant, 1240 west Randolph (at Racine), on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER, 16, 2014, from 5:30pm until Midnight! Chante will perform her classic Stepper hits including, Loves Taken Over, I Cry To Myself, Bitter, Old School Lovin, Im What You Need & Its Alright, while you get your Step On. Deejays Sam Chatman and Mellow Khris will keep you on the ones and twos. Last year, Chante rocked the Lexington House and many of you just stopped Steppin and were amazed at her performance on stage and when she went into the audience. She even sang Happy Birthday to several Steppers. Chante will also be promoting her new book entitled, Will I Marry Me?. It is a book that she says takes a closer look at yourself and asks the questions, are you really ready for your mate? Shell be signing copies of the book at our VIP after party. We were busy this summer with The Worlds Largest Steppers Family Day Cook-Out & Bar-B-Que, held in the Green Lake Forest Preserve, 159th & Torrence, Calumet City, Illinios. (Next years date for the Cook-Out, will be SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 2015). Last month, we had our debut at the Dorchester ballroom, with special guests Kjon and Carmichael. We brought in Kjon, because his hot new record, Its A Beautiful Thing, is on fire and also I wanted to do a Friday night. Dolton Mayor Riley Rogers hosted the event with me. Carmichael also debuted his new CD. We are bringing Carmichael back to perform with Chante Moore in November. Carmichael is moving to Europe in December, so I wanted to get him before he leaves the Country. My partner, Gus Redmond and I are producing a special Steppers CD with Carmichael that will be ready for purchase by the November 16 event. Stay tuned for that! There were so many rumors about leaving the Alhambra Palace floating around saying my relationship with them had ended. SIMPLY NOT TRUE! I just couldnt physically do the Cook-Out and Dorchester and have adequate time to produce something there. Thats It, Enough said. For the first time I will be offering tickets to, An Evening With Chante Moore & Special Guest Carmichael, on line. For those of you in far away places, you will be able to purchase VIP Tickets, ($45.00, includes her new book and photo opt at the after party) and General Admission tickets($20.00), by simply going to kenbedfordevents ; Simply print your receipt and bring it to the door with you. It will be your ticket. I will have a copy that is automatically mailed to me, so you will be good to go! I will also have tickets at my regular outlets, Dress To Impress Stores, 9537 south Western avenue and 1005 East Sibley road, in Dolton, Bernards Hat Store, 9017 South Commercial avenue and at The Look, ladies fashions in River Oaks Shopping Mall. Please, Please,Please dont wait until the last minute to get these tickets! When they are sold out that will be it and there will be nothing I can do. Remember I warned you early!
