Hello everyone! I am planning to make a self study group for 8.03 (Physics III: Vibrations and Waves). The lectures by Walter Lewin are on the web, what we need to do... watch 2 or 3 lectures per week and discuss key concepts and post relevant numerical and understanding based question so that we could enhance our understanding of concepts behind everyday phenomena related to vibrations and waves. I am thinking to start the group from 1 Nov. only if there are more than 50 people willing to pursue and participate in the course. This can be started on this page itself if Todd Giroux has no problem with it. Please give your opinion on this...
