Hello everyone. I am writing to all of you to ask for prayers this morning for Gary. We went to the Drs office this morning actually for me- to get more blood drawn, since my recent blood work shows that I now have gout! They are wanting to do some further blood tests- but anyway, they wanted to talk to Gary while we were there. It seems that the initial results from his recent blood work is REALLY BAD! They are waiting on more results- but the ones that they have received so far are showing that his blood sugar is completely OUT OF CONTROL! His A1C was 12.0%. You are considered diabetic at just 6.0%. We knew it was bad- but even the Dr was shocked at this number. They have increased his one insulin to even more- where he has to use 2 pens for just one dose. Depending on the other results- he will most likely be going to a specialist for this- because his Dr said he doesnt know what else to do. We have changed our diet quite a bit to accommodate to this- but still need to be more diligent in this fight. Please pray for focus & control for both of us in this matter. Also- his cholesterol is WAY TOO HIGH too! They have increased his meds for this as well. He has an appt with the heart Dr today- so please pray for that to go somewhat decent. Gary is really scared and is very depressed about this. I am asking for prayers to keep his spirits up and to keep his hope alive. I appreciate everyones love & support. Thank you all!
