Hello everyone, I apologize I have not posted anything in a while, however, a VERY important issue is coming before the council on Tuesday 7/23. The council is trying to pass an ordinance to limit where mobile homes, travel trailers and sea container homes can be used within our city. The 1st reading passed by a slim margin of 4-3, we are having the second reading tomorrow. The bottom line is this, if this reading fails a mobile home, travel trailer or sea container home could be placed in any vacant lot within our city. This would hurt our property values, in turn hurting our tax base and affecting our tax values to run our city. If you know anyone who lives in districts 1,2,3 or 4, please encourage them to attend the city council meeting and voice their opinion. By the way my family and I are on vacation so I need you to be my voice, VOTE YES TO PASS ordinance.
