Hello everyone. I did not get to post yesterday and it sure was noticeable viscerally. Since joining facebook I have tried to make it a habit to share something each day. Yesterday was just one of those days that got away from me. After work Tuesday I had an appointment to donate plasma and platelets. I managed to follow through with the scheduled appointment this time. I donated quite a bit last year but this year however has been a different story. They call me frequently from the blood bank asking me to donate because of my blood type is the 2nd rarest type there is. Of course I dont mind giving, but it seems that lately something always pops up on the days I had been scheduled to donate. It was a relief yesterday that I was able to follow through uninterrupted by some unexpected occurrence. It takes about an hour and a half to two hours to complete the process so the cool part is that you get to pick a movie out of a big selection of dvds that they keep available for you to watch as you are filling up those bags. Yesterday the movie of choice for me was Flight- with Denzel Washington. Ive probably seen it five times already but it does not bother me to watch movies that I like repeatedly. I think its cool when Denzel plays a bad guy role. Maybe thats why I like Training Day and A Soldiers Story so much. Well the rest of the day was nothing more than me trying to fit in other things that I wanted to get done but I felt like I was unsuccessful because I did not focus on anything in particular like I should have. I guess thats what happens when you dont do things according to the way you have them structured in your planning. Being realistic about what I can get done in a day would probably make things go a lot smoother. At this particular juncture I would be in favor of adding about 10 more hours to each day. Thats the post work part of it though.
