Hello everyone, I have to give a talk/presentation on Welcoming - TopicsExpress

Hello everyone, I have to give a talk/presentation on Welcoming people from around the world to the Shikoku pilgrimage on Sept 6 in Hiwasa (at T23) and Nov 29 in Tokushima city and would love if you could answer the following question, so that I can share your thoughts/answers etc with the audience. As a part of omotenashi (spirit of hospitality), is there anything that the people in Shikoku ie. inn owners, osettai group members, can do to help make the pilgrimage a better experience for people around the world? For example, someone from Europe has said to me that he wished that there were instructions in English on how to use the washing machine at the inn. Another person has mentioned that he wished the Japanese would stop asking, Where are you from? Any thoughts/comments are welcome. Please write here or send an email to david.c.moreton@gmail Thank you very much. PS. I am booked to speak about Foreigners and the Shikoku Pilgrimage on Oct 4 (Tokyo), Nov 7, Dec 20, Jan 10, Oct 2015 and Nov 2015 so I might be posting more survey questions in the near future. : ) Your responses would very much appreciated.
