Hello everyone, I thought Id introduce myself. Im Jake, Ive been working on my car for about a year now. Its a 1991 190E 4-cylinder 2.3L So far Ive been in two accidents with it, one major, the other a deer. The passenger side was hit by a newer Accord, both doors were smashed in and the car was pretty much totaled. I had a friend of mine who has a body shop pull out the frame, and I put on two new doors. The body is coated with Plastidip, the racing stripe wasnt my idea, but everyone likes it, so I left it on. I installed custom headlights when I hit the deer, the old headlights were smashed in. I had to replace the grill too, but I havent gotten around to putting the star back on. The rear taillights are custom too, they arent smoked, the plastic is tinted, the turn signals are clear with an orange bulb. Ive also installed two ten-inch Magnum MTX MB210SP subwoofers on a 500watt amp with an Alpine UTE-42BT head unit. I had to replace the mids too, I bought the car with some mismatched Inifinity mids that were worn and blown, I replaced them with two 4-inch Kicker DS40s in the front, and two 5 1/4-inch DS525s in the rear. Overall my system is more punchy than deep, but its plenty loud. I bought some Peel & Seal for my trunk, its an alternative to Dynamat, and it does great as far as stoping vibrations in my trunk.
