Hello everyone! I was excited to find this group on FB so I can connect with other loomers like myself! I have been made fun of for being a 32 year old knitter who has been looming for several years. People say its an old lady hobby but I disagree, looming, knitting, weaving and crocheting is an art for all ages and genders! I would like to share with you a project I am working on currently. I was excited when my mom sent me money to purchase my own Christmas present. I purchased a Super Afghan Loom from JoAnns and now I am in the process of making my first 60x60 blanket. I am using a K1 row, P1 row to make a lovely garter stitch. so far, I am 85 rows (80 pictured) in equaling about 15 inches of yellow, sage green and white and when I do 5 more of white, Ill be switch to a nice baby blue. I am so excited to share my work and to see what everyone else can make!
