Hello everyone... I was hoping to write this a few days from now once Sue was out of the woods so to speak.... But here it goes....Sue did suffer a sizeable stroke this past Thursday morning...She underwent life saving surgery as fast as it was possible....The first day was disgustingly hard for all of us at the hospital and later that night at home... She survived.....The last two days have been marked by slow steady improvements that are slowly removing her from immediate danger...Heavy sedation to let her body do its work is the key... We have at least three more days of this rough situation before there could be a statement like out of the woods could possibly be spoken in confidence....But things are much, much better than before....There is momentum, however small compared to what all our untrained eyes want to see, and momentum is momentum.... As most of you may know, she is a strong stubborn soul and that will prove priceless for her now.... I would much rather send a near daily update to you all through a more private group email rather than using facebook....Please shoot me an email and I will cut and paste you into the chain going [email protected] for all the thoughts, prayers, and vibes you can send us...
