Hello everyone... I was just diagnosed with Throat,tongue and - TopicsExpress

Hello everyone... I was just diagnosed with Throat,tongue and lymph node cancer on March 19th... I have had a few biopsies completed and am very near starting radiation. I need to have a few teeth removed prior to radiation. I am going through the Denver VA, and Anshutz cancer pavillion here in Denver. I am obviously very scared.. who isnt though. Has anyone had to have a stoma placed for this cancer? im thinking that swelling of the throat and tongue may be a need for it... breathing is a good thing.. lol... I dont know what to all expect... any feedback would be great.. thank you soo much. Thankfully my girlfriend will be by my side and help me through this...
