Hello everyone!!! I was trying to get some much needed sleep but Tinkerbell felt that I only needed 50 minutes!!! LOL. SASHA was successfully rescued and delivered to an extremely qualified Veterinarian in Cherry Hill. She checked out fine. Peeped and pooped (as I coin a recent phrase) all over the vet floor. She has no infestation, no mange.... it was malnutrition, dehydration and possibly some anemia. She also has a left ear infection, and a left front paw infection to the second digit. The vet thinks she is about 4 years old. She will be put on an oral antibiotic, and special shampoo. You can follow her progress on the Lilo page who has taken legal custody of her and her care. Efforts are being made to find her an emergency foster home closer to Cherry Hill. She is staying at the vet for observation and is having a FULL SPA DAY!!! She was happy and wagging her tail, standing up straight Amanda Byelich Stewart) and doing the doggie dance (Not kidding).... when Jennifer Strassberg Conners from Lilo rescue walked in, SASHA started literally bowing down to her. She was sooooo happy. We left her with Amandas homemade chicken and rice dinner and in very good hands with her personal assistant!!!! You are all wonderful for YOUR part in this rescue.
