Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Eric but you all may call me Airman and I am one of Miles For Medics’ newest Admins. I would like to say that I love the organization and the camaraderie that we all have together. I have been around for just a short amount of time however, I have witnessed so much progress occurring and so much help being provided by Miles for Medics already. I’m from southern Missouri and work full time as an EMT for a rural ambulance service in the area. I am married with a 2 year old daughter that is my absolute world. EMS is definitely my passion and career. I am also a regional commander with the Missouri EMS Honor Guard and have my degree in Homeland Security/Emergency Management with a focus on counter-terrorism. Currently, I am in the process of enlisting in the United States Air Force with a contract for Pararescue. For those who don’t know, PJ’s or Pararescue Jumpers are special operations combat search and rescue and are highly trained trauma specialists charged with the task of rescuing any soldier anywhere on the planet no matter the circumstances. From this experience I will be able to bring valuable insight into the side of military EMS and thus help Miles For Medics reach every one of our brothers and sisters possible. Lastly, I want you to thank all of you for everything that you do. Whether it’s on your local department, as a good Samaritan, or for MFM. What we do truly touches lives and don’t ever think anything different. I am typically on the Zello channel and most of the regulars know me pretty well.
