Hello everyone, I would strongly advise everyone here on this group to visit the Assoication this Wednesday evening because theyre screening two incredible short films from England by Ted Evans and Julian Peedle-Calloo. Evans and Peedle-Calloo are great filmmakers, among with a number of other filmmakers in the UK that I idolise and I hope that I will be able to emulate these filmmakers one day. Confession is a film about Victorian England that reveals the aftermath of the Deaf community after the tragedy of 1880 in Milan, Italy. The End is a powerful and moving film about a dystopian future of the Deaf community once a cure for deafness is found. The End is still winning awards from all over the world since its debut in 2012, which is a statement to how incredible the film is. So come along and catch these screenings in Room 209 at Singapore Association of the Deaf on Wednesday evening at 7pm! Hope to see some of you there!
