Hello everyone, Im just sitting here at work trying to sort out everything I need to get done. Im just thinking about the fundraiser and what to do with it. Right now it will run out in 7 days and were just over half way there. As for building materials we have pretty well everything needed to build the sanctuary and I still get the odd donation of leftover materials from various people which is very helpful. Now the biggest problem is getting the kitty tower/scratching posts and beds for everyone. My uncle came up with a great idea for the beds. I was looking at beds for them at walmart and I took the sizes down and my uncle is going to build bed shelves, in a couple rows out of some scrap wood he saved. Hes going to make them in sections so theyll be easily movable and hes going to paint them with heavy duty paint so theyll easy to clean etc. I would really like to get their beds so everyone has a comfy spot of their own to sleep. What I would like to ask everyone here is what I should do? Should I start pushing the fundraiser more and hope we reach the goal before it runs out? Or should I extend it again and keep it going that way? Everyone here now has their own blankets now and once they have their beds the balance of the fundraiser money will go into a special account that Ive set up thats only for vet visits, emergencies, spaying or neutering or any other medical related problem that may pop up. I cant lose my babies and I want to make sure they have the best care, even if it means I go without things myself. Im so overloaded with so much to do in such a short time frame I really need the help with ideas. They really need their beds and towers/posts, theyve scratched up some of my friends stuff but thankfully it was just old junk and he didnt care to much. So I would like to ask everyone for their suggestions and ideas on what I should do. Ill post the link for the fundraiser here to for everyone to check out again.
