Hello everyone! Ive had quite a few friend requests from various people who cross different parts of my life - professional, political, personal, and rescue. First and foremost: I NEVER post about work on Facebook. Ever. Any work-related content is limited to LinkedIn. I do belong to one group associated with a professional development program in which I am participating, but thats a closed group. So you will never see work-related posts on my general page. :) Second, for those of you NOT involved in rescue; I primarily use Facebook to facilitate cat rescue. I have a big network of folks literally across the country and into Canada, and I use that as much as possible to help rescue cats that are in immediate danger of death. SO. If youre not in rescue and arent interested in rescue, you may want to adjust your settings so that my posts dont appear in your news feed. :) Finally, I do post fundraisers for various cats who needs funds for various reasons. I try to keep the flow and frequency of fundraising requests manageable on my page. In other words, If I have an active fundraiser going OR if I have recently had a fundraising effort that Ive been pushing, I wont share other fundraising requests. Like I said - I try to keep it to a manageable, do-able level. So dont take it personally if you have a fundraiser you would like me to share and I dont share it. One of the ways, I believe, that I am effective is by not constantly posting pleas for rescue and funds. So thems the rules. And with that, have a great day!
