Hello everyone. Listen I am writing this update just to WARN the other members of this forum since I recently had a disturbing experience with one of the people involved in the foreclosure activism scene and I think it is morally right to at least WARN you all since this person works in the legal industry AND she has recently expressed that ANOTHER person has been attacking her online recently. So I am writing this to let the people know that ANOTHER person (myself) has had difficulties with this person - since when MULTIPLE people have a falling out with a person it is usually a red flag that something is wrong. I am not writing this to DENIGRATE this lady, but only as a WARNING to others because I feel that her behavior is a bit erratic and a risk to other people who may enter (or have an interest to enter) into any sort of a business relationship with her. You, of course, are free to make YOUR OWN choices. This is NOT a hit piece. I am writing this out of CONCERN and to prevent OTHERS from future problems with this person. I have been in contact with this lady in question : Michelle Darnell https://facebook/michelle.darnell.129 for over two years (on and off) as a result of my research work with this MRA project. We had shared some good information over that time and she seemed to be professional (claiming that she worked in the legal department of a law firm specializing in foreclosures). However, thinking back now she did speak a bit obsessively about God stuff, but I let it go because it wasnt completely over-the-top (not that I have anything against God per se). To make a long story short a few weeks ago this lady sent me a FB message asking if she could hire me to create some web site(s) for her. I responded professionally requesting info on what she needed done and I took special care to explain that I will ONLY agree to work which I can BE SURE to deliver on (as I never want to enter into an agreement I cant deliver on). Also at the time she requested my assistance I was in dire cash flow situation (needing to wait a week to get more cash) and explained that I needed cash (basically a $100 advance on the web site work) as soon as she could send it. She agreed to that and said she would try to send a wire transfer in a few days. Let me state right here that it was NICE of her to agree to send the funds - especially since I gave her such short notice and she was ALSO having cash flow problems. I was polite and continued corresponding and giving her ideas on how to move forward with her web site project(s). But this is where things started getting weird. Several times I would send her LONG emails with IMPORTANT info related to the project. She asked for the info for sending the $100 wire transfer. I send her an email with VERY CLEAR directions on doing that. Then she turned around a few days later and asked me for the SAME info. I started to get a sense that something was NOT RIGHT. Then a few times I would call her on these instances of faulty communication and she would push the blame onto me. The last straw was today when I went down to the Moneygram office and attempted to pick up the funds she sent a few days ago, Again, her email communication was SUBpar on this issue and it turns out that when I went to fill out the Moneygram form the transfer # she gave me had TEN numbers but Moneygram only has EIGHT. So I returned home and messaged her and AGAIN she blamed me by saying she had sent the proper info (which she HADNT and I have proof) the other day. Finally, the very last straw was when she then said I sent the money to you in Thailand as you requested). THAILAND???? I had sent her AT LEAST five correspondences in the past few weeks stating CLEARLY that I was in Cambodia IN ADDITION to putting that CLEARLY in the directions for sending the wire transfer. In the end I was so frustrated by her behavior that I told her to GO GET A REFUND on your money as I wont take it and REFUSE to work with a grown woman who conducts herself in such an recklace manner. So just for the record I WILL NOT pick up the $100 that Michelle Darnell has sent to me AND I hope this story will be a HELPFUL warning to anyone who may be thinking about dealing with this person in any sort of business terms. While I certainly do need income right now there are certain things I WONT put up with just to make some cash Personally, I pride myself on my ability to communicate CLEARLY with people. Again, I dont write this to maliciously attack Michelle Darnell. I dont think that she is a bad person. In addition, I wont unnecessarily fling personal poo about her. However, some of her behavior puts other people in a difficult situation. So, I only write this to PREVENT other people on these forums from getting into a situation which could be detrimental to their goals.
