Hello everyone! My name is Karen Sanchez and I am an admin for this group under Evelyns supervision. I am addressing you all because many new couponers (and even seasoned ones) are getting discouraged by the negative responses that have surfaced in some of the posts lately. This is a very large group and with this many people we understand there will be a lot of different opinions and ideas which we both appreciate and encourage as long as we can do it respectfully. Evelyn has created this page providing a sense of community with the intentions to help everyone who has the same goal as her which is to save money by using coupons correctly. What sets her group apart from others is the fact that she has created a sense of integrity, honesty, comfort and a fun ambiance for everyone. In the files section, there is a list of rules to abide by and I believe rule #1 is to be respectful to your fellow couponers. We are all here to learn from each other, to share deals with each other, and to show off our savings accomplishments with one another. There is no necessity nor space for rudeness. If a fellow couponer makes a mistake with their haul and it offends you because you feel it was done unethically, instead of name calling, and finger pointing (examples we have seen within the group: you commuted fraud, it is people like you who..., you are a thief etc etc etc - can you see how accusatory this sounds?) - instead please bring it to mine or Evelyns attention and we will address it. If you post a haul and someone is rude to you please bring it to our attention if it gets out of hand and you cant appease the situation. If someone posts a haul that you cant do for yourself for X or Y reason, do not be mean spirited about it; I assure you another great deal will come your way. Just be happy for that person, it will encourage everyone and more people want to post the hauls they are very much proud of accomplishing. It is very hard for Evelyn or myself to control/ prevent every negative situation with a group this size so we are asking you do your part to keep the peace and be courteous to each other and both Evelyn and I will do our best to do the rest.
