Hello everyone. Since I first posted I had a shooting script signed Lisa Chappell Ive been inundated with offers and inquiries about its price (sorry I havnt been able to reply to you all individually) but Ive been struggling to come up with a fair and reasonable price, so Ive spent the last few last week chatting with some people in the biz to get their opinions. The script itself is only a photocopy as the original was stolen during the photocopying process about 2 years ago when I was getting several scripts done at once which took a couple of hours as each script was over 90 pages. I went home via taxi and put them all away in my wardrobe. It was only recently when I took them all out that I noticed what had happened and immediately rang the shop where it occurred and learned the current owners are not the same ones who did this. Be assured the signed cover is the ORIGINAL script page and Lisa used a blue ballpoint pen and that signature is chiefly what gives it its value along with the rareness of the item, and the personal value to the individual, who deem it to be very special. Yesterday my other script sold for $336 (for which eBay took 10%) and some people have felt the need to tell me that Ive been a fool for letting it go for such a low price, especially being signed by 7 of the cast. Well all I can say is that I didnt want to be greedy or have it go for a ridiculously high price. So after much consideration and after re-reading all your messages, Ive decided to give people a few days to make me serious offers VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE ONLY. If I was to list it on eBay the reserve would be $400.00 so thats a starting bid. This way we can have our own private auction, but if the majority of those interesting bidding dont like this idea and prefer me to list it on eBay then I will, but keep in mind, that price could escalate. My reason is for selling all these treasured items is to try and get enough money to have my old PC rebuilt. I donate 10% of my proceeds to PLAN International for child poverty.
