Hello everyone! So, this past year has been such a crazy and amazing journey in my life. A couple of weeks ago I spoke at TEDx for what just might be the final time about everything that happened... I want to say thank you to everyone. If it wasnt for you people absolutely none of this would have happened. I wouldnt have been able to speak at Best of the Best, and I wouldnt have been blessed with the opportunities to speak at either TEDx events... I feel sad that this chapter of my life is coming to a close, but I assure you that I have grown from this, and I will NEVER forget any of the support you gave me. I now have a renewed sense of courage and grit to fight my way to achieve my dream of being on Broadway thanks to you! I am at a loss for words... I just cannot thank you enough. You are all abso-freaking-lutely FABULOUS! If I start sounding overly sentimental, Im sorry, but If you have a dream. CHASE IT! You owe it to yourself to do so! If you would like to watch my final TEDx talk I will link it in this status. This final presentation was unique in the sense that I actually did not have a script for it... Needless to say I was beyond scared, but going into to it I knew I couldnt let any of you down. This was the culmination of the love and support you have shown me from this past year just coming out in one passionate and crazy speech. I hope you enjoy it! Also! One last couple of things... While I encourage you to listen to every single one of these talks, because they are all PERFECT and FABULOUS and PASSIONATE. There are two that particularly affected me. First is Linsey Armstrong. She is my teammate and one of my close friends. She got up on that stage and declared herself to be a feminist, and she did it with courage, eloquence and pride. I absolutely commend her for showing that audience what feminism is all about. Her talk epitomizes what passion is. She quickly started to face opposition from audience members when she wore the title of feminist, but she stood her ground completely. She is not one to be messed with. I strongly encourage you to listen to her talk. The second is Corey Craig. I did not meet Corey before the day of TEDx, but he affected me in such a way that I will never forget. He spoke so beautifully about his life experiences, and about how he was labeled as a troublemaker at a young age. I identified so much with his talk. He is an inspiration to all, and his talk has a message we need to listen to. Believe it or not, its a good thing to be a troublemaker and shake up the world a little bit. He has definitely inspired me to chase my dream of being on Broadway even harder. I definitely feel like I gained some sort of a brother that day. Again I encourage you to listen to every TEDx talk and just take in all of their passion. Thank you again to everyone! Thank you to the TEDx speakers and coaches! Thank you! Thank you so FREAKING MUCH! I will absolutely never forget what you all have done for me. You all are extraordinarily fabulous!
