Hello everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join this group. I have been a long standing liberal Christian communist from the United Church of Canada (a very left church but not quite communist). Ive been involved in a few communist and protest movements over the years both in online and real world. Though I hadnt, until recently, reached out to find the Christian communist community. Chalk it up to those obvious things you almost never think of. A few months ago I was invited to a online group for Christian anarchists and while not an anarchist myself I figured it would be an interesting community to observe. Interesting certainly was one way to put it but they turned out to be libertarians and heavily American in their theology and philosophy. They are good people but really misguided and nonreceptive, and the whole experience left me wanting to seek out a community dedicated to Christs actual teachings of justice and equality. Hopefully we shall have some excellent discussions and debates together. Thank you again and god bless.
