Hello everyone! The Plastic Fantastic Show began 5 years ago on the first anniversary of the opening of LightBox. We have always had a special love for plastic toy cameras with Chelsea shooting 80% of her images over the last 20 years with the same vintage Diana camera found at a second hand store for $5. This year makes the fifth year of Plastic Fantastic and again we have Susan Burnstine serving as our juror. We are very serious about these rudimentary film images, and with Susan as juror, we tend to be the toy show that is less about silly and more about the serious visual quality of the images. We have been fortunate over the years to have the best of the best of the plastic shooters represented in this show. All of our Plastic Fantastic Shows are still viewable on our website, along with all of our past exhibits. Please help us make this years show great! Please consider submitting and please share this post with others, with your help we will be sure that the upcoming Plastic Fantastic Show V will be the best yet and Susan will have pleanty of great meaningful images of which to choose.
