Hello, everyone. This is Beathans wife, Hope. I just wanted to let you all know whats going on with Beathan. On Friday night/Saturday morning he said he was having some pain in his chest, so we went to the hospital. All of the tests came back negative except the troponin test, which was a little elevated. It was several hours before they decided that it had been a very mild heart attack. He was admitted and is on the cardiology floor. Further tests and an evaluation of the symptoms have led them to think that there is damage in the location of the original stent that was put in 6 years ago. So,the doctors have scheduled him for a catheterization tomorrow morning to either repair or replace the stent. There is no actual time slot for this procedure. He will be put on a list and they will get to him as early as they can. Hes doing well and is looking for ways to break out (tying the bed sheets together ALWAYS comes up as a possibility and requires me explaining that the drop would be a bit harsh ^_^). I apologize for not getting this information posted earlier, but I had been up for 19 hours and had taught ballet for 9 of those hours, so I was really too tired to be coherent last night. We appreciate all the prayers and love that have been shared on his behalf. I will let everyone know how the procedure goes as soon as I am able.
