Hello everyone This is to inform everyone that has questions in regards to our daughter Amaris Mary Cecilia Koostachin. She was born in TDH at 1:25 am at 7lbs 12oz. on July 18th. When our daughter was born she immediately had complications as she wasnt able to breathe on her own, she was immediately taken to a care unit were she had to be placed with a ventilating system. Doctors were really concerned of her condition and quickly assessed her. After the doctors had assessed her they made the decision for to be airlifted to CHEO here in Ottawa for further assessment. We departed Timmins in the afternoon and arrived here in Ottawa 2am. Amber and I quickly came to the hospital and we were informed that there hasnt been any change of her condition since she left Timmins. We met with the doctors yesterday with very devastating news, we were told that our daughter suffered with the lack of oxygen to her brain before birth in which she is not functioning the way a baby suppose to be. In her state she looks to be in coma, in reality she has not function to her whole body. She continues to be to in care of the same procedure when she left Timmins. With this care it takes 3 days and we are going to complete this and go from there. Our daughter is in a very critical state and we continue to pray for a miracle that she will return to us. At this time we ask everyone to please keep the questions to a minimal as we will update as we go along. Please pray for our baby girl to get well
