Hello everyone This week sees the second week of the Summer Comps getting underway. Just a reminder about safety and rules, especially for the Social Comp to ensure that the spirit of play matches the spirit of the comp in and everyone goes home safely. As your teams will have noticed, some teams have novice and very young players involved with their families and we would like to be able to offer this family and social environment to them without fear of injury. Remember, if you are playing social comp, then the emphasis needs to be on social and having fun. Regarding safety, please remember the following rules that are in place for everyone’s safety and enjoyment whether you are playing social or competitive: · NO hits, lifted balls, slapshots with hands together, tomahawks etc. Thanks for taking the time to read this email and convey the sportsmanship message to your team/s.
