Hello everyone. Today we have to close our doors to new dogs and its with the deepest regret and sorrow. What we have achieved in the past year is more than we ever expected. I always said we will save them all and actually we will try. But as far as the farm is concerned we cant become hoarders where dogs dont get good care because there are just too many. There will be about 300 at the farm so its 300 saved. As we find homes others can take their places, but for now we are at full capacity. We have a vet bill too of round 15000 euros so please if you can help us pay that off it could open the doors in other areas, other places. We have a terrible dilemma as we have all seen the pictures of the dogs in Bacau public shelter and its given us sleepless nights. We know we cant rescue them all and thats tough to take for us who so far has saved every dog that has come our way. We have all deliberated all day, because the dogs we already have have to come first, we cant let them down. So a compromise has been reached. We took ten yesterday and our group has agreed that as our final rescue we can help twelve more, but only if offers on here are honoured and they have sponsors. They are due to be killed and sadly some may have been already this weekend. For the twelve we need a new area and they will need vaccinations and food. The area is approximately 1500 euro for metal posts and days of labour. We will need some crates for the young ten from yesterday which is 50 euros for one. We need ongoing commitment to sponsor the dogs at 35 euros each, vaccinations are 14 euros each and food is about 300 euros per month for all. The foster money will pay the wage of a carer and bedding. This is a critical situation and its been discussed all day and deliberated. When we are registered more doors will open but we cant start with a debt like this. Please make your offers for these twelve. Iv chosen them which is really hard as we are leaving the others behind. Also time is not on the dogs side so we can reserve them as soon as we know its a feasible option. These are the twelve please help by posting on here what you can do.
