Hello everyone! We are inviting you to attend the next CNSA National Conference on January 28-31, 2015 at Regina, SK hosted by the University of Saskatchewan! The theme is Inspire Excellence: Promoting Empowerment to Achieve Superior Quality of Care. The goal of the 2015 CNSA National Conference is to prepare Nursing Students for their future careers. Our focus is on Self- help. The conference will be preparing students to utilize self help techniques in their own personal lives, as well how to facilitate self help teaching to patients. The conference will have workshops on topics including but not limited to; communication techniques (interdisciplinary, interpersonally and intrapersonally), suicide prevention, nurse burn- out prevention practices, stress management, work place bullying prevention and more. The three main focuses are: • Integration of educational lessons on how to promote self- care • Promotion of self- care education and practice in every day life • Initiating an independent and global understanding of self- care practices.
